We are Pablo and Rosa
We are not the fifth generation of a winegrowing family, and we carry no illustrious names in the world of wine.
We love the simple things: wine and good food. Together we built the first mobile app for booking wine tourism experiences in Spain.

The idea
I'm Rosa
An art historian by vocation, I ended up in the world of wine by pure chance. Before this, my only contact with wine was as an archaeologist on a Roman-era farming estate. Who would have guessed! I also took part in an industrial heritage research project with the University of Murcia.
While working at a winery in the DO Alicante, the social side of wine fascinated me. Visitors arrived shy, but after a glass everything changed — the laughter and the conversations crossed over each other so loudly that you could not hear a thing.
I decided to train properly and studied oenology, taking every tasting course I could. I knew this was what I wanted to do. The idea of building an app for wine tourism bookings took shape in my mind.
The push
Enter Pablo
Pablo is from Cádiz and is passionate about building things. In his family, both his grandfather and his father were great lovers of sherry. For them, a small glass of fino or amontillado before lunch, and the ritual of going to the bodega to refill the carafe, was simply everyday life.
From the start, Pablo pushed me to make this idea real. After one of his spreadsheets (it is a vice of his!), a lot of enthusiasm and a trip to Alsace, we were looking for developers to get down to work. Pablo looks after the numbers, which is the part I like least.
